I’m Damian McArthur – private chef, adventurer, and founder of this sunny little company.

Sauce du Soleil began as a simple idea born from my love of bold flavours and vibrant ingredients. As someone who has spent years exploring culinary traditions across the globe, I wanted to create sauces that not only taste incredible but also bring a bit of joy and sunshine to your plate.

My culinary journey started in the top restaurants of New Zealand before taking me to private islands in the Caribbean, elite hunting lodges in the U.S. and the sun-drenched vineyards of France. These experiences inspired me to experiment with flavours that tell a story – whether it’s the tangy sweetness of our ketchup infused with apples and dates or the fiery punch of our hot sauces.

Sauce du Soleil isn’t just about heat and spice; it’s about crafting something authentic, delicious, and made with care. Every bottle is a nod to the love of good food and a celebration of the sunshine that brings its ingredients to life.

When I’m not in the kitchen perfecting recipes, you’ll find me outdoors – climbing mountains, riding bikes, chasing adventures, and, occasionally, dragging my awesome daughter along for the ride! 

Sauce du Soleil reflects this spirit of adventure and my passion for sharing something meaningful with the world.
